Privacy Policy

Thirdstop does not collect personal information. The app has no server and no accounts. Here's what that means in practice.

Photos

Photos you capture or import never leave your device. All color processing happens on your iPhone, and nothing is transmitted or uploaded to any server.

  • Photo library access is requested as add-only. The app does not read your library.
  • Importing existing photos uses the system photo picker, so only the photos you pick are passed to the app.

Location

Off by default.

Location permission is requested only if you turn on "Save location to photos" in Settings. The value is used to write EXIF location data into photos you save, and to show that spot on a map when you open a photo's details. It is never used for scene detection or analytics. Drawing that map hands the coordinates to Apple Maps to fetch map tiles — nothing else about the photo goes with them, and we have no server of our own to send anything to. You can turn location off anytime in Settings.

Usage data

App activity is written only to the device's system log and is never transmitted automatically.

The developer can see aggregate statistics Apple provides through App Store Connect (downloads, crash counts, etc.). These are produced by Apple and cannot identify individuals. The app contains no third-party SDKs for advertising, tracking, or analytics.

Purchases

The one-time Pro purchase is processed through Apple's payment system (the App Store). The app never accesses your payment method or Apple Account information — it only checks purchase status on-device.

Website

thirdstop.app uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to see visit statistics. It sets no cookies and does not identify or track visitors across sites.
